Join us as our new MLOps Engineer in the Sensing and motion accuracy Team at Vitestro, you will play a critical role in improving our machine learning models by enabling our engineering teams to get access to high-quality data, train models efficiently and gain valuable insights into model performance.  This is a unique opportunity  offering a vibrant environment for innovation and creativity. Job requirements

Your Responsibilities

In an agile environment, you will:

  • Design, implement and optimize cloud-based data processing and model training pipelines

  • Enable software engineers to get valuable insights into model training performance and ML data.

  • Enable engineers to efficiently and interactively experiment with data and models in a cloud environment

  • Enable efficient and traceable ML model deployments and model monitoring

  • Collaborate with software engineers and the clinical team to ensure new data can be annotated efficiently and with high quality

  • Work closely with functional architects and the cloud team to understand requirements and deliver secure and scalable ML pipelines in our AWS-based cloud platform

You will also have opportunities to grow by contributing to Machine learning projects.

What You Bring

  • A master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years in a machine learning or MLOps role.

  • Proficiency in Python and software engineering practices, with the ability to coach others in Python design patterns.

  • Hands on experience with training and validating models.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of  CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).

  • Knowledge of MLOps tooling and AWS services that are commonly used for machine learning (SageMaker, Step Functions, Lambda functions, ECR, S3).

  • Experience with running models on edge devices.

  • Knowledge of data lakehouses and ETL tools.

  • Experience with data science techniques.

  • Exposure to the medical device industry and related standards.
