As an AI software engineer within industry X, you are a next generation leader that drives digital transformations and helps our clients transform their organizations to innovate, launch new products, rethink manufacturing and ensure long-term sustainability. You look at products and processes from ideation to industrialization to their end-of-life by using the power of data and digital ingenuity to help our clients redefine the products they make and how they make them.
People You will be part of the Accenture Industry X Software Engineering team. We are professionals with many years of experience in supporting our clients in making their product smart and connected. We support our clients with complex software projects in an onshore/nearshore/offshore delivery model. As an Industry X AI Software Engineer, you will work together with Accenture account teams in selling our AI software development capability; you will contribute to our agile software development team in the delivery of complex software products in the high tech and product industry. Your experience in complex software development and delivering in large agile teams is key to this role.
Processes As an Industry X AI Software Engineer, you will play an active role in the software solution development starting from architecture definition to delivering and deploying the end solution. You have experience in aligning with business stakeholders to understand the needs, including acceptance criteria for validating software development and delivery model. You bring experience in software development and integration in large and complex systems working with geographically distributed scrum teams. You have excellent problem-solving skills, are open minded, eager to work on the latest innovations with our clients, embrace change and are at the forefront of innovation.

Here's what you'll need (please send along a cover letter with your CV):
The Modern Tech Stack:
AI Coding Tools: Proficiency in Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development environments
Development: Strong hands-on experience in Python (scripting and backend) and modern web technologies
GitHub Expert: Deep knowledge of Git and GitHub (Actions, Projects, advanced version control)
Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications on Azure.
Containers: Solid experience with Docker and Linux OS
Data Science & AI:
Frameworks: Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
AI Concepts: Good understanding of Deep Learning (Computer Vision) and Generative AI (RAG, LLM orchestration)
Edge Computing: A solid grasp of deploying AI logic to Edge environments
Education & Experience:
Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field
Experience: 2+ years of working experience in an Agile, multidisciplinary software environment
Communication: Excellent English (verbal and written); Dutch is a strong asset
