A Day in the Life
While the Robotics Surgical Technologies group keeps expanding into new geographies and the product portfolio keeps evolving at a fast pace, the focus on Change Management is key. Therefore, within the Global Commercial Enablement team we will be hiring a principal specialist who will be working closely with Global functions and regional functions on orchestrating changes in the most optimal way to ensure that business and customer objectives are executed in the most efficient and effective way.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead or leverage cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage global change and process improvement projects within Surgical Robotics, focusing on Order-to-Cash and related supply chain and customer care processes
- Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects; act as liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management; monitor projects from initiation through delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives, timelines, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals
- Coordinate global execution of change initiatives, ensuring consistency across regions; drive regional enablement activities; review project and budget status; manage schedules; and prepare/deliver status reports to stakeholders from Specialist to Director level
- Assess project issues, perform impact assessments on existing processes, and develop resolutions; provide input for the development and enhancement of Order-to-Cash processes and strategies
- Develop, update, and optimize tools, reporting, dashboards, and playbooks to support change implementation and standardization; create mechanisms to monitor progress and enable intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
- Act as central point of contact for global change initiatives, supporting CPMO (Central Program Management Office) under GCE (Global Commercial Excellence); function as an individual contributor delivering and managing projects, collaborating with stakeholders, mentoring or guiding lower-level professionals, and adhering to company policies with specialized expertise
- Operate with general supervision as an established contributor on moderately complex projects; set objectives for own area, contribute to milestones and cross-functional work; address project/process issues with understanding of broader business needs; recommend system/process improvements; communicate with internal stakeholders across levels (Specialists to Directors); and provide guidance to entry-level or support staff.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence in project management, process improvement, and change management within a global business environment
- Experience and knowledge of Customer Care and Supply Chain processes, with hands-on experience in SAP
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are combined with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience
- Able to travel approximately 10%.
Experience in the medical technology sector is preferred.
